it's been a week since im back from the horribly tired work trip :/
i went to yogyakarta, indonesia for a meeting. It wasnt a fun-fun trip like what the co-workers thought it out to be as, I wasnt there to attend the meeting but was there to organize it. =/
I started preparing for this meeting since mths back, coordinating the participants/speakers attendance, developing the programme with the indon counterparts.. LOTS OF WORK..
anyway, to think that the volume of work is not enough for me, they made me the staffing officer for the delegation. ARGH... duties of a staffing officer includes... booking hotels, airtickets, preparing itinerary for the boss... ARGH.
okay, so that's the prep.
as co-organizers of this meeting, we have to reach 2 days in advance of the rest of the participants. and zhun zhun, it rained heavily that day, and i just couldnt booked a cab. argh. and then the transit at jakarta airport. i was totally overwhelmed by the hours of delay for the transit. 5-6 hours?! i got delayed in an airport where the air-con super lacking, wifi network is horrendous, no duty free shops, no seats, lousy traveling partners, the trip just got to start on a bad note. argh.
okay, i shant comment much abt their national airline experience. all i can say, i almost slip out of my seat when the plane touched down. =/
counted my blessings. at least both my luggages and i arrived safely at yogyakarta.
